A couple of weeks ago I popped to Paris for a quick weekend getaway. While it went far too quickly (doesn't it always), it was lovely to swap London for one of my other favourite cities for the weekend, and having not been to Paris outside of work for a couple of years, I was pretty excited to get on the Eurostar without a deadline in mind.
In a day and a half we managed to pack in an impressive amount that went something like this; brunch at Marcel in Montmatre, a visit to the Pomidou, buying far too many books at one of my favourite book shops Shakespeare & Co (best visited during the week-it gets so, so busy), stumbling upon a amazing flea market in Pigalle, Pizza at Grazie, a wander round the botanical gardens, Le Jardin des Plantes, a successful visit to vintage Mecca Killiwatch and delicious dinners at L'Office and Le Dome du Marais.
After a great couple of days, we left the Parisian sunshine for grey and rainy London with bad Sunday blues and lots of fun memories.
Till next time Paree.

Beautiful pictures!! Hope you had a great time :) xo madeleine

I wish I was this clued up on fashion, I've struggled to find a down-to-earth wardrobe consultant that don't charge the earth. Try living and working in central London and not being at the tip of fashion, Devil Wears Prada anybody??
